feathers on his cap. As chairman of Kings International Medical Academy, he has

Recently honored with an award by the state of Maryland, Dr. Pillai’s
unparalleled endeavors represent an inspiring example for others to follow.

accomplishments for Dr. Pillai.

K Pillai was honored recently for revolutionizing the medical field with a
low-cost, high-quality educational model that benefits financially challenged
students. It wasn't just any old crowd at the awards ceremony. Dignitaries from
around the world showed up to celebrate Dr. Pillai's accomplishments. At the
event, Dr. Pillai shared that he wanted to ensure that all students must have
an equal opportunity to fulfill their dreams of becoming doctors.

Dr. David
K Pillai has made it his life's mission to provide the best possible education
to India's aspiring doctors. His institute, King's International Medical
Academy, is associated with Davao Medical School Foundation, one of the best
medical schools in the Philippines. Dr. David K Pillai took tremendous
responsibility on his shoulders and passes this opportunity on to the students
by facilitating such an association. Dr. David K Pillai added that this allows
our rural communities and our students to fulfill their dreams while
simultaneously enhancing the standard of education in our country. It also
gives the much-needed limelight to our Indian students and puts them in a
global standard of excellence.
Under the
leadership of Dr. David K Pillai, Kings International Medical Academy has
mentored many students to succeed in one of India's toughest exams, FMGE. The
institute has achieved a high pass rate of over 90% for several consecutive
years.
To enroll
in medical colleges in India, students must pass the National
Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). Unfortunately, there is no way to study
for this exam other than self-teaching; however, experienced mentors from the
Kings International Medical Academy help students study for NEET through
mentorship programs. Mentors from the Kings International Medical Academy have
seen success with guiding students to pass not only NEET but also other exams
for entry into medical school.
Besides
being an entrepreneur, he is a philanthropist who enjoys engaging in charitable
activities. One of his most remarkable achievements is providing rural students
with the resources they need to attain a quality education. These students, who
don't have the funds to attend better institutions, can better themselves with
Dr. Pillai's help.
It’s not
surprising that the Association of Kings International Medical academy with the
Davao Medical School foundation helped many aspirants to full fill their dream.
Thanks to Dr. David K Pillai, over 5,000 medical graduates have been able to
fulfill their dreams and practice medicine abroad. These students account for
2800 FMGs currently working around the world.
