of young days and endeavours over the years have brought him the least expected
success. With several feathers in his cap today, he is an educationist,
entrepreneur and philanthropist. We are taking about the chairman of Kings
International Medical Academy and many other ventures, Dr David K Pillai.
Looking Back!
One of the renowned educationists of
the present day, Dr. David K Pillai has been an enthusiastic and inquisitive
person, always curious to gain knowledge since his childhood. He was born on 17th
February 1965 and has had a remarkable academic career. He completed BBA from Spicer
Memorial College in 1991 and received a PhD in Administration soon after.
During those days as he engaged
himself with several social reform works, Dr. David K Pillai witnessed the
struggles of rural areas as well as middle-class families. He realized how many
students failed to fulfil their dreams and ambitions, primarily for high cost
of education and financial limitations.

Dr. David K Pillai, being a
passionate philanthropist, has singlehandedly provided free education to many
students from rural India. He has also made medical education free from
aspiring youths from financially weaker families in India. Thanks to him,

the House of Parliament during the 2nd Annual Global Medical
Excellence Awards function and an award from Peter Franchot, the Comptroller of
the state of Maryland.
Today, Dr. David K Pillai is respected by students as well as dignitaries from various sectors, nationally and internationally. After coming this far, the man with multiple feathers in his cap believes that India is yet to become healthy. He, therefore, continues to enhance healthcare facilities and produce more medical practitioners to heal the world.
